Mohair is the wool of the mohair goats (alsoo known as angora goats). The wool of the young goats is more fine and thinner than the wool of they adults, and it is the mohair of the young goats, which is spun into kid mohair yarn. To get a fine thin and strong yarn, they kid mohair is often spun together with silk or a synthetic material.
